About Our Team
Staci Robinson, MS, LCMHC
Owner, Executive Director, Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Staci Robinson has long had a fascination with how the brain works and its functioning; therefore, she achieved her master’s degree in mental health counseling and has been working in this field for nearly eleven years. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, she received her Bachelor’s degree in business and worked in the business sector for many years. So, when the time was right, she combined her skill sets to open her own practice.
Staci has worked with a variety of different individuals in her therapy settings specializing in addiction and trauma. She has discovered that many of the underlying causes of addiction are directly related to trauma or unprocessed memories in the brain. Therefore, she became trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to utilize as an evidenced-based technique to work through those memories. She has worked with children and adolescents in the behavioral unit in a school setting; domestic violence perpetrators; victims of domestic violence; Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); court-ordered offenders; veterans; sexual addiction with both adolescents and adults; pornography addiction; substance use disorders; and a variety of mental health issues.
She is intrigued by the transformation of individuals who have decided to make changes in their lives through therapy techniques, support, and skills learned in therapy. Her observations suggest that those who decide to choose a “New Direction,” become more self-aware, gain purpose in their lives, become healthier, and lead a more productive lifestyle.
Staci believes that one should never stop learning, because you discover more about how much you don't know than how much you do. Some of her favorite quotes include, "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value", and "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning" ~Albert Einstein. She also stresses to “Never say never!"
Her hobbies include reading, meditation, yoga therapy, fishing, boating, and spending time with her dogs.

Troy was born and raised in Colorado and moved to Utah in 2015. He moved to Utah to be closer to friends, family, and to enjoy the amazing outdoor opportunities and destinations that Utah has to offer. Troy became interested in helping people achieve their goals and overcome personal and relational struggles at a young age. While debating if he wanted to be a teacher or a therapist as an undergrad student, he gained the desire to join the mental health field. He gained this desire while working as a developmental para-professional and through the influence of great professors. Troy received his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and has been providing therapy for individuals (children, teens, adults), families, and couples ever since.
Troy is certified in Adlerian Psychotherapy, PREPARE/ENRICH pre-marital and couples counseling, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. He enjoys working with all populations, but is especially passionate in working with individuals that are experiencing relational distress, sexuality/intimacy concerns, faith transition/faith crisis, and LGBTQ+ issues, and grief/loss. He has years of experience working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, loss, transitions, and trauma.
When not providing therapy, Troy enjoys spending time with family and friends, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, and learning about other cultures and faith systems.
